Subjects Taught
6th Grade ELA, 7th Grade ELA, 8th Grade ELA

I completed my under graduate degree at the University of South Carolina.  I obtained master degrees in reading and learning differences from Furman University.  Education is an ongoing process.  I continue to take classes in order to keep up with the latest in the world of education and technology!

My experiences in education include teaching third grade, teaching special education, teaching middle school ELA, teaching reading enrichment in middle grades and being the career learning coach at Christ Episcopal Church in Greenville, S.C.  I enjoyed setting up the reading/math enrichment lab at Easley Jr. Highschool in Pickens County.  I love helping students to be academically successful in all grades and with projects they may have.

Teaching is a wonderful and rewarding part of my life.  I have taught for over three decades and enjoyed every year.  This is my 15th year in Georgetown County, including five years at GMS.  I enjoy reading, writing, walking on the beach and great movies. My little dog, Mollie, is awesome and we have fun playing on the beach together! I live in Murrells Inlet and enjoy fishing on my favorite boat!  My fiance and I also have a white German Shepard, Summer.  We have a busy family life and great plans for our future!
