Assistant Principal

A Message from Mrs. Kibler –

I am excited for the opportunity to work with the students, faculty, staff, parents, and community members of Georgetown Middle School! My goal as Assistant Principal is to work closely with all stakeholders to ensure that our students become successful and responsible members of our ever-changing society.  Through our dedication and team work, we will make a difference in each student’s life striving always toward the goal - “where the best get better!”

Experience –

I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. For 16 years, from 1999- 2015, I was a classroom teacher in Georgetown County School District. I taught at McDonald Elementary for 8 years, Waccamaw Elementary for 1 year, and Waccamaw Intermediate School for 7 years. In 2015, I received my Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Coastal Carolina University. That same year, I became the Curriculum Specialist at Georgetown Middle School, a position I held until I made the transition to Assistant Principal.
